Dart Monkeys were the typical soldier in Bloon TD5. They threw darts at balloons in the game and could be upgraded to throw sharper darts and also wore a red or green headband when upgraded. Several of these monkey's were seen in Purple Shep and Failboat's let's play of Bloons TD5.
